Something’s Bruin…
February 8, 2016
Hope Nichols Prockop (L) and Amanda Sobhy (R) will be singing the National Anthem for the Boston Bruins on Thursday, March 10, 2016 for the 7pm game against the Hurricanes at the TD Garden.
Amanda, currently ranked #7 in the world, and Hope, a 2015 British Open 45+ Champion, will take center ice and deliver a 90 second duet to the world. Hope and Amanda, Harvard Squash alumnae of 1990 and 2015 respectively, have sung the National Anthem before at venues such as Boston’s Symphony Hall as well as the Tournament of Champions in NYC. Amanda and Hope have represented the red, white and blue on multiple occasions securing gold medal victories for Team USA.
This incredible opportunity came about because Amanda and Hope benefit from the good work of sports massage therapist, Colleen Carney, owner of Back in Motion. Colleen, a Belmont native, treats amateur and professional athletes including Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox players.
